Thursday morning in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur, two motorcycle riders perished after being struck by a train.
The deceased were identified as Hamidul Islam, 40, and Shushanto Roy, 42.
The victims were riding a motorcycle across the Parbatipur level crossing at a high rate of speed around 10:30 am.
The Khulna-bound Rocket Mail train struck their motorcycle, killing them both instantly, said police.
The remains were recovered from the scene by Parbatipur Railway Police.
