Metropolis Desk-
Bangladeshi scientist Dr. Abed Chowdhury has discovered a new rice production method called ‘Panchabrihi’, which allows for the cultivation of four additional varieties of rice for different seasons on a single tree.
This method, known as ‘Panchabrihi’, can be achieved without the need to completely remove the tree after the harvest.
Dr. Chowdhury believes that this discovery could alleviate the food crisis faced by the growing population of Bangladesh, which is affected by natural disasters, floods, and droughts.
He believes that by disseminating this rice cultivation technique among farmers, Bangladesh can potentially guarantee food security for its entire population for the next 50 years.
Dr. Chowdhury plans to make the method available to the poor farmers of the country, aiming to enhance the quality of life for his fellow citizens.
