The premier international educational exchange program of the US government, known as the Fulbright Program, aims to promote mutual understanding between the US and other nations. According to a press release, the US Department of State sponsors and the Institute of International Education (IIE) manage the Fulbright Foreign Student Program.
Young professionals who are extremely motivated can receive financial aid through the Fulbright Foreign Student Program to study for a master’s degree in the US. Suggested candidates include junior faculty members who are currently employed by Bangladeshi higher education institutions, as well as junior to mid-level staff members from both public and private sector research institutions, think tanks, and NGOs.
The Embassy encourages students from all academic fields to apply, with a particular emphasis on higher education administration and curriculum development in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences as well as in business, economics, public policy, environmental science, urban planning, the arts, psychology, and security studies.
Eligibility Requirements:
* Have at least a four-year bachelor’s degree, with an outstanding academic record from an accredited public or private university in Bangladesh.
* Not have a degree from a U.S. college/university or be enrolled in a current degree program in the United States.
* Not hold a master’s degree from any foreign country (those holding Bangladeshi master’s degrees are eligible).
* Have at least two years of full-time professional experience relevant to the proposed field of study.
* Be fluent in English with a minimum iBT TOEFL score of 90 / IELTS 7.0.
* Be a Bangladeshi citizen residing in Bangladesh at the time of application.
* Submit a complete online application according to the program
