A motorcycle carrying a biker and two pillion riders crashed with a speeding car on the Tangail-Mymensingh Highway, killing three people in total.
The deceased were Alamgir Hossain, 30, Shamim Mia, 22, and Sona Mia, who all hail from Tangail’s Madhupur.
The incident happened on Tuesday, February 14, around 10:30 pm in the Ghatail upazila’s Haripur area.
The Ghatail-bound motorcycle was returning from Tangail when it crashed head-on with a car coming from the opposite direction, leaving three persons dead at the scene, according to police and locals.
The car involved in the accident has not yet been identified. After the legal process is over, the victims’ bodies will be sent to their families. No cases had yet been filed, said police.
