In the past 24 hours up until this morning, at least 46 dengue patients have been admitted to hospitals across the nation. Five of them are from locations outside of Dhaka.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the overall number of dengue patients this year has increased to 1533, 562 of them are from locations outside of Dhaka.
There are now 162 dengue patients receiving care at the facilities. 13 patients have now passed away from dengue this year. 1,358 dengue patients in all were discharged from hospitals.
According to the DGHS, there were 281 dengue-related deaths overall last year, as opposed to 62,382 total cases, 23,162 of which originated outside of Dhaka.
