Per information released by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, a 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck Mexico’s southwest Oaxaca state.
The epicenter, according to the report, was at a depth of 95 kilometers at 10:40 pm local time, 8 kilometers west of the town of Chahuites and 133 west-southwest of commercial hub Tuxtla Gutierrez, home to about 850,000 people.
However, there have not yet been any reports of injuries or damages.
