In the 24 hours leading up to Thursday morning, seven more dengue patients were admitted to hospitals.
There are currently 31 dengue patients being treated at hospitals across the nation, including 17 in the nation’s capital. The DGHS has so far reported this year 776 dengue cases, 736 recoveries, and nine fatalities.
After 179 deaths in 2019, the nation experienced 281 dengue deaths in 2022, the highest number ever. Also, it reported 61,971 recoveries and 62,423 dengue cases last year.
