Mohammadpur, Azimpur, and Gabtoli, areas of Dhaka, will be covered by the e-ticketing system starting tomorrow, comprising another 711 buses operated by 15 companies.
At a press conference held today at Paribagh, Khondaker Enayet Ullah, general secretary of the Dhaka Road Transport Owners Association, made the announcement.
The system was initially introduced on November 13 of last year by 1,643 buses operated by 30 Mirpur-based companies.
They are working to address the issues; the e-ticketing system has been 70 to 75 percent successful so far, Enayet asserted.
