When the wings of the dragon fly fall apart
Mountain stretches from sleep
Life blooms in the vicinity
And fear overwhelms in our heart
Lost the earthen lamp long ago
Where shall we find it?
Inside the folded eyes of doe?
Where shall we find it?
Beneath the deepest of the Lion’s Mane?
Neither we have flaming torches
No transcending light
Nor we have racing horses
Which are Black or White!
Long since the Euphrates merged with Mediterranean
Landless people celebrated the birth
In the warmth of breast, holding them with caress
And enjoyed the newborn’s cry
Today all those memories have been conjured by nightmares.
Now death hunts here over the lives
Now songs are only with the war drums
Monsters rush along frightened night
Tear apart all the places
Those are filled with plight!
Today the hope only remains regaining the lamp
And tracing our paths with the beam of light
Then divide the stream towards North and South
Finally if we could crush barrier of stone
And stand upright!
Here, the sleepy eyes of mountain
Just wait and wait
There will come to the end of suppress
One day the dawn will come along the wings of dragon fly
Wiping out all the distress.
