Sixteen servings of sweet water haor fish were served to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today during a luncheon hosted by President Abdul Hamid at his home in Mithamain village, Kishoreganj.
The prime minister’s preference was carefully taken into account when selecting the meal. After launching Bir Muktijoddha Abdul Hamid Cantonment at roughly 11:05 am, the premier went to the president’s ancestral home for lunch, said locals.
She addressed a small gathering at the Mithamain Helipad field after lunch.
