Two more inspectors general of police-level employees have been promoted by the government to supernumerary grade 1 positions.
On Tuesday, the Home Ministry’s Public Security Directorate published a gazette notice regarding this.
The two officers are Khandker Golam Faruq, commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, and M. Khurshid Hossain, director general (DG) of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB).
