The general secretary of the Awami League and minister for roads, bridges, and transportation Obaidul Quader is traveling to Singapore for his routine health check-up.
A press release from the ministry states that he was expected to depart Dhaka today at about 8:30 am.
The ministry’s information officer has stated that he will return on March 3.
