Bangladesh joins the rest of the globe in celebrating International Women’s Day under the banner Digit ALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality.
In order to mark International Women’s Day, several women’s, social, and political organizations have created unique initiatives.
Both the president and the prime minister wished all women throughout the world a happy International Women’s Day in separate statements on the eve of the holiday.
The Ministry of Women and Children Affairs planned a procession for 2:30 pm to commemorate the occasion. The procession began at the main Shaheed Minar and ended on the grounds of the Bangladesh Shishu Academy.
