Another body was found today at the scene of the tragic explosion at a Gulistan building on Tuesday. The blast has now claimed 21 lives.
Mehedi Hasan Swapan was the deceased, according to the victim’s relatives. After the explosion on Tuesday, Swapan, the manager of a store in the basement of the building, has not been seen.
The vice-principal of the Fire Service Training Complex stated to the media that they commenced a rescue effort based on the victim’s relatives’ suspicion that the body could be found under the building.
At about 8:45 am today, the rescue efforts at the building’s basement were restarted for a third day.
