Famous artist Fuad Almuqtadir had open heart surgery yesterday in a hospital in the United States. Surgery took eight hours, but it was successful.
Shamim Shahed, an actor, writer, and journalist from outside the country, posted the information to his Facebook page at midnight yesterday.
“Fuad Almuqtadir, a well-known Bangladeshi singer and songwriter, is having open heart surgery in Los Angeles. His family asks that everyone pray for him,” read the post.
The operation was successful and finished an hour ahead of schedule, according to a status update he also shared. Rahat Almuqtadir, Fuad’s eldest brother, gave him the news’ confirmation.
