Metropolis Report-
The claims against the well-known restaurant business Sultan’s Dine that it used meat from animals other than goats for its kacchi biriyani were dropped.
Following an inquiry by the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP), a press release was released on Monday, March 13, in this respect.
On March 9, the investigation was conducted at the Gulshan-2 location of the eatery. On Monday, March 13, the restaurant’s GM, AGM, and branch manager appeared at a hearing and provided oral and written testimony.
The restaurant was exonerated of all claims because the consumer protection group could find no concrete evidence that it had used meat from animals other than goats.
A customer allegedly received kacchi cooked with meat other than goats last week, according to a Facebook post from earlier that day. The DNCRP opened an investigation after the tweet quickly became popular on several social media sites.
