The national flag shall be hoisted on March 17 in all public and private offices and buildings to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day.
To that end, a gazette notification bearing the signature of Cabinet Secretary Mahbub Hossain was published.
The government has instructed all government, semi-government, autonomous, and non-government institutions and educational institutions, including Bangladesh missions abroad, to hoist the national flag on March 17 in honor of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day.
