A policeman has been killed after being hit by a car at Oshai junction on the Faujdarhat-Bandar toll road in Chattogram city on Monday night.
Deceased Mujahid Chowdhury, 30, of Brahmanbaria, was working in the Traffic Port Department of Chattogram metropolitan police.
Police said when Mujahid was returning home on his motorcycle through the road after completing his duty around 11pm, a car coming at a high speed hit his motorcycle from behind. He was rushed to hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
