Nur Nabi, a student at Dhaka University (DU), died at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital Tuesday afternoon after suffering critical injuries in the explosion on March 5 in the Science Laboratory area.
He passed away while receiving treatment at the intensive care unit, DMCH. Six people are now confirmed dead as a result of the explosion.
When the explosion occurred, he was walking by the scene and was struck by falling blast debris, which caused injuries to his head and leg.
Urgent medical attention was given to Nur at DMCH, where he received care up until his death.
