Business leaders of the Bangabazar Shopping Complex on Saturday asked for financial support from everyone, claiming a loss of Tk 1,000 crore in the catastrophic fire that occurred at the complex on Tuesday.
According to the head of the Bangabazar Complex Shop Owners’ Association, the fire destroyed more than 5,000 shops.
He claimed that thousands of small businesses were in desperate need of help during a press conference in front of the neighboring Annexco Tower.
