In response to Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio’s invitation, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will travel to Japan for an official visit from April 25 to April 28.
The Japanese Emperor will welcome her, the foreign ministry announced in a statement on Tuesday.
The visit is regarded as being of tremendous significance because Japan is an important factor in the Indo-Pacific region and a major development partner of Bangladesh.
At first, the visit was planned for November 29 to December 1 of last year.
