Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury, the founder of Gonoshasthaya Kendra and a brave freedom fighter, is being remembered by people from all walks of life as his body was brought to Central Shaheed Minar this morning.
His body was taken from the BIRDEM mortuary to the Shaheed Minar grounds in a refrigerated van at around 10:00 am. In the Shaheed Minar, where Dr. Zafrullah’s body will be kept until one o’clock, he will receive a guard of honor.
The first namaz-e-janaza for him will be performed in Suhrawardy Udyan at 2:30 pm once his body has been transported there.
The second namaz-e-janaza for him will be held tomorrow after Juma prayers, and his body will be brought to Gonoshasthaya Kendra in Savar at 10:00 am.
