Considering that there is a chance of rain in at least four districts, including Dhaka, on April 21 and 22, there may be some reprieve from the existing extreme heat wave over the Eid holidays.
Dhaka, Sylhet, Mymensingh, Chattogram, as well as several other districts, are likely to have rain on those days, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.
Yesterday, Sylhet experienced its first rain in weeks, providing some relief from the oppressive heat. Before the rain in Sylhet, there hadn’t been any precipitation in the nation since April 7.
