As part of a tri-nation tour of Japan, the US, and the UK, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina landed in Washington, DC, on Friday. On May 1, Sheikh Hasina will take part in a session honoring 50 years of cooperation between Bangladesh and the World Bank in Washington, DC.
On April 28, at about 3:35 pm (local time), a United Airlines flight carrying the prime minister and her companions touched down at Dulles International Airport in Washington, DC. The Prime Minister was greeted at the airport by the Bangladeshi ambassador to the United States.
She will depart the United States for London on May 4 after her seven-day visit to Washington, DC, to attend Charles III and Camilla’s coronation as the new monarchs of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms.
The prime minister and members of her entourage arrived at the Haneda International Airport in Tokyo earlier on April 25 at 4:45 pm (local time) aboard a special chartered VVIP flight (BG1403) of the Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
