Around noon on Sunday, a fire started at a dyeing and yarn plant in Tongi, Gazipur.
Three firefighting units were attempting to put out the fire that started at the plant in the Pagar region at about 12:30 pm, according to the Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense.
As of yet, no causalities have been documented.
