The hanging body of a journalist of Jamuna Television was discovered by police on Tuesday at midday in his apartment in a seven-story building on Kalabagan Lake Circus Road in the capital.
Kudrat-e-Khoda, 27, newsroom editor of Jamuna Television’s multimedia desk, was named the deceased.
Several inhabitants of a nearby building saw his room open and his body hanging, said police.
After getting word from them, police sped to the scene and found the deceased at about 11.45 pm. The last time Kudrat spoke to his mother was Monday at about 4 pm, added police.
