Beginning on May 31, the metro rail will operate six days a week from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd.’s managing director, MAN Siddique, stated during a conference on Thursday.
He also stated that beginning on May 31 the weekly closure would move from Tuesday to Friday. The new schedule’s twelve hours were divided into four halves.
Every 15 minutes from 11:01am to 3:00pm (off-peak), every 10 minutes from 3:01pm to 6:00pm (peak), and every 15 minutes from 6:01pm to 8:00pm (off-peak) are the train schedules, he continued.
On the day of Eid al-Adha, the metro rail services will be suspended, he stated.
