Metropolis Report-
The country’s current mild to moderate heatwave will likely last for another week. The highest temperature on Wednesday was 38.6 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi and 37.2 degrees in Dhaka. Tetulia, Rangpur, had the lowest temperature ever recorded (23.3 degrees Celsius).
A meteorologist told the media that there is less speed in the air and that sunshine duration has risen in the absence of clouds.
“The heatwave is expected to last for another week. A range of 36 to 40 degrees Celsius is possible. The air is dry since there is less than 60% moisture in it, thus there is no perspiration.”
