As a present for India’s West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina gave 1,200 kg of mangoes on Sunday.
The mangoes were delivered through Jashore’s land port at Benapole.
According to the Benapole customs house, the shipment landed at the Benapole-Petrapole check post at about 12:00 pm.
The shipment was received by the administrative officer (accounts), at the Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata.
Last year, PM Hasina sent two trucks of Haribhanga mangoes to both Mamata Banerjee and PM Narendra Modi in India.
