For property owners who cultivate rooftop gardens in city corporations and municipal districts around the nation, the government is providing a 10% holding tax rebate.
A circular outlining the plan will be released within a week, according to Local Government Minister Tazul Islam, who announced on Wednesday at the secretariat.
According to him, the Dhaka North City Corporation had earlier asked the ministry for a 10% discount on rooftop gardening.
Tajul claims that in light of this, the government has now decided to offer the discount to all city corporations and municipal regions across the nation.
