With a stability score of 50, healthcare and culture and environment ratings of 41.7 and 40.5, education sector scores of 75, and infrastructure scores of 26.8, the city has a lot of opportunity for growth.
In both the 2019 and 2018 rankings, Dhaka was the third and second least livable city in the entire globe.
The Covid-19 pandemic has improved living standards in cities throughout the world, according to the Global Livability Index.
The livability rankings of cities in the Asia-Pacific region, including Dhaka, have significantly improved.
The top-ranking cities in the index include Melbourne, Sydney, Vienna, and Copenhagen.
However, Damascus, Syria, has been rated as the least livable city for more than ten years.
