To attend the UN Food Systems Summit, which is being hosted by the UN Secretary-General, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina landed in Rome.
At the offices of the Food and Agriculture Organization, a three-day summit on sustainable food systems for people, the environment, and prosperity will be held.
Hasina will speak during the inaugural ceremony in addition to having a private conversation with her Italian counterpart, Giorgia Meloni.
She will participate in a plenary discussion on food systems and climate change, speak with the FAO’s Qu Dongyu and the IFAD’s Alvaro Lario, and witness the opening of the Bangladesh-Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Room.
During her visit, it is anticipated that two memorandums of understanding would be signed. In addition, Hasina will take part in a community gathering and a conference of regional envoys.
