The Sheikh Kamal National Sports Council Award-2023 was given by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to ten sports figures and two organizations in eight categories for their exceptional achievements in sports.
The honors were given out on the 74th birthday of Sheikh Kamal, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s eldest son.
The winners were given a certificate, a crest, and Tk 1 lakh.
The National Sports Council and Ministry of Youth and Sports presented the awards, which were first given out in 2021.
