The next parliamentary elections will be announced by the Election Commission (EC) in November, typically 40 to 45 days before election day.
Candidates will have the choice of submitting their nomination papers in person or online.
On the morning of election day, the EC will deliver ballots to voting places that are conveniently located.
Due to the lack of response from political parties, the EC has not taken any action to initiate a conversation.
According to Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal, the schedule for the 12th parliamentary election could be made public in the final week of October.
