Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, a Hindu seer known for his outrageous statements, is demanding that the Moon be proclaimed “Hindu Rashtra” and that the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft’s landing site serve as its capital.
The national president of the All India Hindu Mahasabha urged Parliament to pass a resolution declaring that India is the sole owner of the Moon before other religions do the same.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the location of ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3’s historic soft landing on the Moon’s south pole will be known as “Shiv Shakti Point” after it occurred last week.
Swami Chakrapani Maharaj posted a video on social media and urged the Indian government to act fast to ensure that “no terrorist” could enter the country.
“Parliament should declare the moon to be a Hindu Sanatan Rashtra. So that no terrorist with a jihadist attitude can get there, the Chandrayaan 3 landing site should be constructed as its capital, or “Shiv Shakti Point” he added in the video.
Swami Chakrapani is accustomed to performing absurd feats. He hosted a “gaumutra party” in the nation’s capital in 2020 when the nation was battling the coronavirus pandemic when he and his fellow All India Hindu Mahasabha members drank cow urine to fend against the illness.
“People who kill and eat animals are to blame for the rise in the coronavirus. He was cited by news agency PTI as saying, “When you murder an animal, it releases a kind of energy that causes damage in that region.
“They (world leaders) should import cow poop from India because the divine only dwells in Indian cows and not in any other breed,” the author argues. Amid Kerala’s terrible floods in 2018, Swami Chakrapani opined that people who consume beef in the region shouldn’t be given relief.
He established a “Dharma Censor Board” earlier this year to keep an eye on material that offends Hinduism in Bollywood movies, web series, music videos, etc.
