Elon Musk’s father has warned that his billionaire son could be killed. Errol Musk, 77, criticized a recent New Yorker piece that claimed the Tesla CEO’s influence affects government choices about space, Ukraine, social media, and electric automobiles. The paper also emphasized the significance of SpaceX’s Starlink satellites during the conflict in Ukraine. US President Joe Biden stated that Elon Musk’s contacts with foreign nations are “worthy of being looked at” after his purchase of Twitter last year.
In response to The New Yorker’s article titled “Elon Musk’s Shadow Rule,” Errol told The Sun: “It’s a hit job, a shadow government-sponsored opening salvo on Elon.”
He said, “The ever-submissive people must be prepared for the attack, and the enemy must be artillery-like softened up before the actual attack.”
He acknowledged having concerns that Elon could be killed by the “shadow government” and said, “Yes.”
When Elon Musk paid $44 billion to acquire Twitter in October of last year, he faced a great deal of criticism. On the social networking site, which he just relaunched as X, he has been charged with permitting an increase in hate speech and misinformation.
Dmitry Rogozin, the former head of the Russian space agency, made a subliminal threat against the richest man in the world in May of last year regarding the provision of Starlink satellite internet service to Ukraine.
He had made a jest about it at the time, joking, “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowin’ ya.”
However, Mr. Rogozin was dismissed a few months later, and Yuri Borisov was named as his replacement by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Some Twitter employees told that Mr. Musk always has bodyguards following him around. Additionally, they had stated that Elon Musk’s modifications and layoffs had made it difficult to maintain security.
