To present a new face of opulent mountain tourism, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has started a master plan to create a new project in the mountainous region of Soudah.
The “Soudah Peaks” project will see the construction of a posh mountain resort 3,015 meters above sea level atop Saudi Arabia’s highest peak. It will spread out from the Souda region and some of Rijal Almaa.
The project is a vital component of the Public Investment Fund’s (PIF) efforts to diversify the economy by bolstering Aseer’s development strategy and expanding vital industries like tourism, hospitality, and entertainment. It is located in an exceptional natural and cultural environment in the Aseer region of southwest Saudi Arabia.
Soudah Peaks, according to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Chairman of Soudah Development’s Board of Directors, represents a new era of luxury mountain tourism by offering an unmatched living experience while maintaining the surrounding natural beauty, rich culture, and tradition.
It strategically supports the objectives of Vision 2030, which include boosting tourism and entertainment, fostering economic growth, luring investors, adding more than SAR29 billion to the Kingdom’s total GDP, and generating thousands of possibilities for both direct and indirect employment.
“Soudah Peaks will be a significant addition to the Saudi Arabian tourism industry and place the Kingdom on the international tourism map while highlighting and celebrating the country’s rich culture and heritage,” the Crown Prince added. Visitors will get the chance to enjoy the genuine friendliness of the local population while learning about the rich culture and heritage of Soudah Peaks and its stunning natural beauty. Soudah Peaks, located above the skies amidst lush vegetation, will provide amazing experiences.
By 2033, Soudah Peaks hopes to provide top-notch, opulent hotel services to over two million guests annually. The masterplan is being created to enhance the region’s cultural and landscape heritage while also reflecting local traditional and architectural forms.
There will be 6 distinct development zones at the location: Tahlal, Sahab, Sabrah, Jareen, Rijal, and Red Rock. Each will provide a variety of top-notch amenities, such as hotels, opulent mountain resorts, residential chalets, villas, and opulent mansion sites, as well as amusement and retail attractions and outdoor sites for sports, adventure, wellness, and culture.
By 2033, Soudah Development will provide 80,000 square meters of commercial space, 1,336 residential units, 2,700 hospitality keys, and other amenities for Soudah Peaks.
