Israel’s desire to visit the United States for no more than ninety days is now possible for Israelis to do so without obtaining a visa thanks to a new program the US introduced on Thursday, per Arab News, as the Israel-Hamas conflict heated up.
Israel just joined a limited group of 40 nations, largely from Europe and Asia, whose residents are permitted entry into the US for three months without a visa. On September 27, the US announced that Israel would be added to the visa waiver program.
At the time, the US announced that Israelis would no longer need a visa to enter the country as of November 30.
The Department of Homeland Security stated in a news release that the program was running as of Thursday.
