To protest the deaths of party activists and the detention of party officials and activists, including its Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the BNP has called for a “countrywide blockade” on October 31, November 1, and November 2.
It insisted on holding nonpartisan interim elections as government.
The announcement was made at a virtual news session by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
