The Israeli military has announced a powerful attack on Gaza, disregarding the ceasefire, resulting in at least 100 deaths and dozens of injuries.
According to CNN, the deadly strikes took place early Tuesday morning, with Israel claiming to have targeted Hamas leaders.
However, officials from the Palestinian Health Ministry reported that most of the victims were children.
Reuters stated that airstrikes were reported in multiple locations, including northern Gaza, Gaza City, and central and southern areas such as Deir al-Balah, Khan Yunis, and Rafah.
This marks the largest attack since the Gaza ceasefire began on January 19, following the recent collapse of ceasefire extension talks.
Citing the Palestine Red Crescent, CNN reported that 86 people were killed, and 134 others were injured.
In the aftermath of the attack, Gaza residents scrambled for safety, with many rushing to hospitals in search of medical help.
