Saudi Arabia strongly condemned Israel’s renewed violence in Gaza, following the most intense airstrikes since the ceasefire two months ago. The health ministry in Gaza reported that over 400 people were killed in the attacks, which occurred during the fasting month of Ramadan.
The Kingdom emphasized the urgent need for an immediate halt to Israeli violence and the protection of Palestinian civilians. It also stressed that the international community must act promptly to stop Israeli actions and alleviate the severe humanitarian crisis facing the Palestinian people.
Gaza’s health ministry confirmed that 413 bodies had been received by local hospitals, with many victims still trapped under rubble.
On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned Israel’s bombing of Syrian territories, describing it as a blatant violation of international law. The Kingdom rejected any efforts to destabilize Syria and the broader region through such repeated actions, which contravene international agreements and laws.
The Muslim World League also issued a statement on Wednesday, denouncing Israel’s aggression as a severe breach of international laws and norms, which threatens regional security and stability. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL, condemned the “brutal Israeli aggression.”
