The Metro Rail will be launched on December 28. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the metro rail on that day.
However, the Metro Rail will not run in full on the first day of passenger transport (Thursday). On the first day, it will provide service for four hours.
Later, the authorities will increase the number and scope according to the demand of the passengers.
According to sources, the flying train will initially run from Uttara Uttar station to Agargaon on a limited basis. The distance of this road is 11.73 kilometers.
Trains will run from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on the first day. Passengers will be transported during this time. The train schedule will be decided later as the number of passengers increases.
