The country’s first metro rail is going to be inaugurated tomorrow, Wednesday (December 28). Six women operators are involved in this journey. Among them, Maryam Afiza completed all preparations to sit in the operator’s seat on the inaugural day itself.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be the first passenger of Metrorail on the day of the inauguration.
She completed her Master’s in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Noakhali University of Science and Technology. She was appointed an operator on November 2 last year. She said that she made herself seasoned by training for one year.
Maryam Afiza has become a proud part of the country’s history.
