Myanmar’s ousted leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, has been found guilty of corruption in the country’s court. On Friday, the court sentenced the jailed leader to seven years.
Earlier, Aung San Suu Kyi was sentenced to a total of 26 years in prison in several cases.
In this latest verdict, she was sentenced to another seven years in prison.
However, when asked to speak on the matter, the spokesperson of Myanmar’s military government did not immediately comment.
