A BNP executive committee member filed a lawsuit in Dhaka today, alleging the head of the detective branch of police and nine other law enforcement officers of robbing and vandalizing the party’s Nayapaltan office on December 7 of last year.
The lawsuit was promptly dismissed by the court.
This morning, Nazimuddin Alam, a former lawmaker from Bhola-4, filed a lawsuit, which Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury dismissed, according to court sources.
