Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi announced that all-out measures will be taken against illegal hoarders in the upcoming Ramadan.
Noting that the traders did not keep their word in the last Ramadan, the Commerce Minister said that discussions will be held with the traders to keep the market stable.
He said these things to reporters after inaugurating the month-long art and trade fair organized by the Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries at Rangpur Cricket Garden ground on Sunday (January 22).
The Minister said that after the removal of government subsidies on electricity and gas, there will be some impact on the price of products, including production.
Still, the government is thinking about the price of electricity and gas, he said.
He also said TCB products will be distributed twice in Ramadan for low-income families.
