The schedule for the 16th ACC Asia Cup has been announced. Four matches will be played in Pakistan and the rest in Sri Lanka. The tournament begins on August 31 and runs through September 17.
India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal will participate in the tournament with a total of 13 ODI matches.
This year’s tournament will consist of two groups of three teams, with the top two teams advancing to the Super 4 stage.
The top two teams from the Super 4 will compete in the final on September 17.
India, Pakistan, and Nepal belong to one group, while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan form another.
Nepal qualified for the tournament after beating the UAE in the final of the ACC Men’s Premier Cup in Kathmandu earlier this year.
Sri Lanka became the defending champions last year after beating Pakistan in the final.
