Dhaka topped the list of cities with the poorest air quality worldwide. At 9:20 am today, Dhaka has the highest air pollution index (AQI) score among the cities, with a score of 245. It was determined that the air was extremely unhealthy.
With AQI scores of 221 and 187, Delhi, India, and Beijing, China, they respectively, held the second and third positions on the list.
AQI values between 151 and 200 are deemed unhealthy, 201-300 are deemed extremely unhealthy, and 301–400 are deemed hazardous, causing serious health concerns to locals.
