Akshay Kumar broke the Guinness World Record for Selfies taken at his movie Selfiee’s marketing event in Mumbai.
After shooting 184 selfies in three minutes, the well-known actor broke the previous record. James Smith beat Dwayne Johnson’s 2015 record of 105 selfies, which he had held, with 168 selfies in 2018.
Akshay Kumar wrote on his social media pages about the global record, “Everything I have achieved and where I am in life is due to the unconditional love of my fans. This is my special tribute to them, acknowledging how they have stood by me throughout my career.”
Tomorrow, “Selfiee” will hit the theaters.
