Eight special trains rented from the railway authority carried over 10,000 AL men to Rajshahi city on Sunday.
All of the special trains have arrived at Rajshahi station, with the last one arriving at 2:15pm from Panchbibi, according to various sources.
One train each left Chapainawabganj, Rohonpur, Sirajganj, Ishwardi, Shantahar, Arani, Natore, and Panchbibi stations towards Rajshahi this morning, said sources at railway.
Trains can be rented based on availability and payment, according to the director general of Bangladesh Railway.
However, according to some rail officials, Bangladesh Railway has never before rented trains to political party leaders.
